What Spark PLgs are you guys using in your built Motors?

Ok I hvae heard NGK's are good to run but two heat ranges colder than stock, and I hav also heard Bosch 4's are good? Any suggestions, ideas, pros? cons? Any help would be great right now I'm running NGK R but I think they are way to cold for my car cause it's hard to get my car to crank over at times and sometimes it just drops below idle and dies... Any help or ideas would be great thanks!!

I would stick with NGK's. I have never had a bad experience with them. Others I have.

I'm using ZEX plugs in mine and they work great! <knock on wood>

I'm using the NGK BKR7E-11 without any problems. Did the problem start when you replaced your plugs?

I have used the NGK BKR7E-11's... the ZEX power plugs... and the Denso Iridium 22's. All have worked exceptionally well for me. If I had to make a suggestion however, it would be this:

If you don't mind replacing the plugs on a regular basis, then simply use the NGK's. If you would like to get more mileage out of a set of plugs, then use the ZEX or Denso Iridiums... and since the ZEX plugs are half the price, I would forget the Iridiums !!!

When I had my GSR I used the NGK's and with my Supra too but many Supra owners use Denzo Iridiums swearing by them. Also the AEM folks doing tuning work on the ECUs right now are telling everyone to use the Denzo Iridiums.

These are stock plugs for a Honda outboard marine engine. Factory gaped at .035

1996 B18B1, NGK ZFR-7F-11's, two steps colder than stock. (see sig.)

Stock are ZFR5F11
One step colder (I had these for a while) ZFR6F11.

I got the ZFR7's from Monarch in CA.
